Chibi Sketch commission for Yumi-Yu !

I loved drawing this OC so much that instead of spending 1 hour on the commission like I was supposed to, I spent 3.5 hours XD, so that's why she turned out a lot cleaner and more detailed haha <3 ////this wasn't supposed to happen btw lmaooo. There's no way I can finish the sketch commissions if they all take this amount of time ;w;;;; so I do apologize for the difference in quality compared to other sketch commishes! 

I chose Yumi's OC for several reasons, the biggest one being that I really wanted to try my hand at white and black hair ! These hair colors give me a bit of trouble, and Zatzuzaratus knew this >u> so he recommended I take on the challenge of drawing Yumi's OC ! And so I DID IT. HUEHUE.

I can't remember who mentioned this to me....maybe it was Nonzev who said she noticed that neon/bright highlights seem to compliment black hair really well? X3 Well, whoever told me that was totally right omg. The pink/purple feels like it's jumping out at me. I really wanted to go with teal //you'll see how it looks in the speedpaint// but in the end, I settled with pink cuz I'm a smexypinklover haha

I really enjoy doing colorful commissions because I get to experiment with which colors work well together <3 I've gotten to find a lot of combinations I like through drawing OCs with such amazing and flexible color palettes ! Thank you for the opportunity to draw your OC, Yumi ! <3 I hope you like her ;w; !
